Opportunity Scanner Module

We offer a centralised and searchable database of grants opportunities available from various sources such as UKRI Councils (UK), Horizon (EU), Grants.gov (US) and other National and international sponsors. Here is an overview of the key functionality: 

GrantsNow natively supports “Funding Opportunities” which are extracted through various funder websites using REST APIs and web scraping/crawling.

The current version supports the opportunities from multiple funders across the UK & the globe, including: 

  • UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) 
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH) 
  • GOV.UK 
  • Alzheimer’s Society 
  • Cancer UK 
  • Wellcome Trust 
  • Bill Gates Foundation 


The roadmap already includes plans to extend this functionality to numerous other funders, (including Horizon 2020) and we can accommodate listing any funders that you want to be tracked daily for new opportunities.
